What Are Model Digitals?

Model digitals are the ideal set of photos you want to use to submit yourself to a modeling agency and they are possibly more important than an actual modeling portfolio.

They're used and regularly updated once you're signed with an agency so that clients can always see how you look like right now.

They are raw images of you in the sense that you don't want to wear any makeup and you want to wear the most simple form fitting outfit, you have to show your figure.

How To Take Female Model Digitals

The key to a good model digital is to get good window light that fully lights up the face and body equally.

You want to try different poses that show your arms and legs because clients will want to imagine how you will wear their clothes by analyzing your body frame. You should also always wear heels.

They look at all the little details like your shoulder width your hips width, how you wear jeans, how long your legs and arms are and your hair cut, color and style.

Most of the time, it's easier to see how the model looks authentically in their digital's than it is in their portfolio and some models book jobs solely from their digitals because if you can kill it in a model digital, you can kill it in just about any job.

You need a tight head shot, a three quarter shot, a profile shot and a full body shot to make up a fresh new set of model digitals.
